The 15th annual Parrish Christmas Giveaway
The 15th annual Parrish Christmas Giveaway is right around the corner and we need your help making sure the kids in our community receive new shoes, jackets, socks, underwear, and toys this Christmas season!
You can be a part of something great by being a sponsor, making donations, or volunteering your time. No matter how big or small any and all help is appreciated.
Donations from individuals, local businesses, and churches are what makes this all possible!
Please bring all purchased donations to the drop off locations (Son’s in Parrish, and Parrish Town Hall!) before December 16th.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration forms will be sent out to students and families in Parrish in early November. You must fill out these forms and receive confirmation to be able to participate. You CANNOT simply show up the day of this event unregistered.

Join Us for a Harm Reduction Kit Packing Party!
Looking for a way to give back to the community while enjoying some free pizza and good vibes? We've got you covered!

Time: 6pm
Location: Walker County Free Store / Old Parrish High School Library
We’re hosting a kit packing party to assemble harm reduction supplies for those in need. These kits save lives, support safer use, and show that our community cares. No experience necessary—just bring yourself, your friends, and a passion for making a difference! These kits will be used in the Project H.E.R.O. vending machines as well as for street outreach!
What to Expect:
Help pack harm reduction kits that include essentials like fentynal test strips naloxone.
Learn about the importance of harm reduction and how it impacts our community.
FREE pizza !
A chance to meet like-minded folks and build connections.
All ages and skill levels are welcome! Together, we can take small steps to support harm reduction and help keep our community safe.
Spread the word, and we can’t wait to see you there!
🍿 Movie Night in the Garden #2!
Join us down at the Reclamation Community Garden's classroom for family friendly outdoor movie nights on November 16th!
Be sure to bring your own chairs/blankets to sit on, and whatever drinks or snacks you may want to enjoy! Free Popcorn will be provided!

🌱 Reclamation Gardens Work Day
Garden Work Day! Come out on Saturday 10/26 anytime between 10am-2pm as we work at the Community Garden!
We will be:
-Moving Three raised beds
-Cleaning up around the garden
-Rebuilding our Compost bins
-Weatherproofing/staining the walls and storage in the classroom.
Boo-Tanical Movie Night!
Join us down at the Reclamation Community Garden's classroom for family friendly outdoor Halloween themed movie night this Saturday (10/19)
What movie? Hocus Pocus! (Rated PG)
What time? Event starts at 6pm / Show time starts at 6:30pm
Seating? Bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on.
Food? Candy and snacks provided!
All children under the age of 17 MUST be accompanied by an adult!
Costumes encouraged!

Brake Light Clinic!
Join Across Alabama, Walker County Mutual Aid, and Jubilee House for a FREE brake light clinic this Saturday for anyone in need of new brake or tail light bulbs on their vehicle! We will be setup at the New Town Hall in Parrish (formerly the old First National Bank!)
SIMPLY DRIVE UP AND HAVE YOUR BAKE LIGHT REPLACED QUICK AND EASY! FOR FREE!
Folks are also more than welcome to come and just hangout / help! We got to be in this together!

Volunteer Day: X-mas Giveaway
The 13th annual Parrish Christmas Giveaway is underway and is in need of your support. Applications have been sent home with each child from Parrish Elementary School. The applications are scheduled to be back November 23rd. Once approved all children in the household under 18 are included in the Christmas Giveaway. At that time, we will take the information from those applications and make an itemized list of sizes that are needed. New shoes, jackets, socks, underwear, and toys will be provided for each child. We must make sure every need is met. Donations from individuals, local businesses, and churches make it possible. The Parrish Christmas Giveaway is not the people listed below, it's everyone that helps in any way. Therefore, we are coming to you for support. Please help provide and fill these needs. Let’s show these kids God’s love and grace.
Saturday, December 17th families will come to Parrish Elementary to receive their Christmas presents. We would like to see it end by filling little hearts with love and joy.
Drop off locations will be set up soon at, Son’s (Parrish), and Parrish Town Hall. You may also contact one of us listed below to pick up your donation(s). We are also open to new ideas and methods as well. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact us. We are looking forward to working with you this year to show these kids love and support. Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus. We will be having a roadblock fundraiser at the four-four way stop in Parrish, AL! This will be a time to collect donations for the upcoming 13th Annual Parrish Christmas Giveaway on December 17th!
